About

Tennants Fish & Chips is a well established fish and chip takeaway, located at 90 Station Road, Long Eaton. Established in 1943, we are a great 5 star takeaway that has plenty of history and experience behind us. We are a strong family-run business, still owned and operated by the same family that started it 80 years ago. Tennants Fish & Chips originally began under John Tennant Senior, who founded and ran the business for many years. It was later passed down to his two sons, John Tennant Junior, and Gary Tennant.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of payment do you accept in-store?

We accept cash and card payments. £50 notes, however, are not accepted.

Can I place a click and collect order?

We are currently working on upgrading our click and collect system, so this feature is now currently unavailable. You are still welcome to place your order via our telephone line by simply calling us on (0115) 973 3284.

Why do you have limited opening hours?

Whilst we would love to open the shop more, we simply cannot do so as we are a small family-run business and the opening hours we are currently doing suites us all nicely. We must consider the age of our owner and any underlying health conditions our team members might have, so for that reason, we are limited to the hours we are able to do. We do agree that it would be nice to open more hours, but the teams age and health play a major role in the reason we have limited hours. The health, safety and wellbeing of our team is our upmost importance - we hope you understand.
